Laura grew up on her family farm in southwest Cheshire and graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2021. She spent her early career working across Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire before joining Sandstone in January 2026.
Her professional interests focus on reproduction, infectious disease and youngstock health. She is currently undertaking a Master’s degree in Bovine Reproduction at the University of Liverpool, with research exploring how pre-weaning growth influences reproductive outcomes in Holstein heifers. Laura also serves as a board director for the British Cattle Veterinary Association (BCVA), contributing to key industry discussions on topics such as TB and Bluetongue.
Laura now lives on the family dairy farm in North Wales with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys running, baking, and walking her two spaniels in the Welsh hills.
