Who we are
Sandstone Vet Group was established in 2020. We are a team of experienced clinical vets and TB testers, backed by a knowledgeable support team. We strive to be at the forefront of our profession; offering progressive, practical and tailored advice to our clients.
Almost all of our vets have a higher qualification, reflecting their particular area of interest. This means that they can not only offer high-level advice onto the farm, but less-experienced members of the team can be mentored and enabled to provide an excellent service from the start.
We pride ourselves on building close, long-term working relationships with like-minded farmers.

What we do
At Sandstone Vet Group, our commitment is to put our farmers at the very heart of our business – where they should be! We work with clients to establish their priorities and contribute our clinical, nutritional and business knowledge to regularly assess current farm performance and areas of focus. In a nut-shell, we will give you as much or as little input as you require.
Situated in the dairy heartland of Cheshire, we have a strong focus on dairy farms, but we also have extensive experience working with sheep and beef enterprises; upland, lowland, pedigree and commercial.

STRONG FARM FOCUS
We aim to build long term, productive working relationships between our valued clients and experienced vets. We don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach for our clients, as we know that every farm will have different priorities, challenges and successes.
EXPERIENCED TEAM
Our experienced vets can make sure we tailor the right approach to you and your business. The best way to get a feel for our practice is to have a chat with one of our clinical vets, give us a call on 01606 241222 or drop us an email. We will be very happy to discuss your requirements as a farm and how we might work together.
COMPETITIVE MEDICINES
Our focus is to always offer a sound return on investment to clients and competitive medicines pricing is a key part of this. We offer a wide range of veterinary POM-V and POM – VPS medicines, if in doubt, ask us!
FREE MEDICINES DELIVERY
NO MINIMUM ORDER
As part of our commitment to provide a client focussed, well-rounded service, orders received before 10 am will usually be delivered the same day in our bespoke medicines delivery van.
To find out more, email orders@sandstonevetgroup.co.uk
QUALIFIED VET TB TEAM
Our team of qualified TB testers have a wealth of experience working with Cheshire farmers between them and are all committed to making TB testing as stress – free as possible. They are a key part of our team and allow us to provide an efficient TB testing service from start to finish, whilst allowing the clinical vets to focus on other aspects of veterinary work.
EMBRYO TRANSFER SERVICE
We offer a nationwide embryo transfer service to complement our fertility consultancy and data analysis work.
Where we are
As our name might suggest, our office is near Tarvin, right on the Sandstone Trail. However, we have vets dotted around the county, and with daily free of charge medicines deliveries, we’ve got the North West covered!
